The Model 510 is specifically designed to provide intelligent battery charging as well as control of a DC output such as a motor or DC lighting. An optional display provides a visual readout of battery voltage, photovoltaic voltage and charging current. Without the display, a tri-color LED indicates the state of the battery.
The user can customize the unit to several different operating modes such as motor control based on battery state or night operation.
The unit can be factory configured for any of four different battery and photovoltaic arrangements e.g. nominally 12, 24, 36 and 48 Volt systems.
